METHOD: Differing from college or university approaches to education, (which take place over many weeks during a semester), courses at the Institute are designed as gateway or entry level introductions to the subjects taught. Due to their short-term duration, A.I. classes are not exhaustive in coverage and scope. However, they are designed in such a way that the student will become familiar with the subject matter, and will be adequately equipped to continue the process of lifelong learning.
A.I. classes are informal, yet they are taught on a studious and practical level. Most courses are textbook based and the student will be provided with a copy of the course outline, including class schedule, reading and/or research assignments, and other pertinent information.
CERTIFICATE: A certificate is awarded upon completion of each course; two-day, or three-day seminar.
DIPLOMA PROGRAM: The Institute offers a specialized Diploma program for students who are interested in a structured course of study and personal exploration. Classes are taught using the British Model of education, with either one-on-one, or small group residential meetings/classes with a faculty member; including assigned research based coursework, and guided reading.
As the Diploma program is tailored to the needs of each student, the number and selection of classes, and the necessary research requirements, will be arranged between the individual student and the faculty.
CEU's: Upon request by the student, the Institute will provide a document which may be submitted (by the student) for Continuing Education Units (CEU's), requisite for the annual continuing education requirements for certain professional licenses, certifications, etc.
