        for Yoga and Transpersonal Studies

"Teaching in the esoteric 'Wisdom School' Tradition"

As a pond of clear water reflects the images of nature which are illuminated by the Moon, so is the endeavor to reflect the inner gnosis of the Self in a spirit of kindness, compassion, and love. This is the beauty of meditation. --The Anandamaya Yoga Sutras.

The Anandamaya Institute for Yoga and Transpersonal Studies is a small, not for profit, arcanum study-center that seeks to provide a welcome place for contemplative learning and reflection.

We are a student-centered circle and endeavor to cultivate  an open space for the practical yet thoughtful inquiry and study of some of the most important, integral, and  meaningful ideas and teachings of our age.

The philosophy and practice of Anandamaya Yoga  Meditation, remain the focal point of our emphasis and offerings.  Courses in Anandamaya Yoga Meditation, from basic through advanced level studies, are provided continuously throughout the year.

The Anandamaya Institute also offers classes in wholistic disciplines, including: Oriental StudiesJungian and Alchemical Studies, Religious Studies, Gestalt Theory, Metaphysics, The Craft, and Esoteric Arts, including Reiki, and Qigong

CEU's: The Anandamaya Institute provides professional CEU (continuing education unit) certificates, upon request.  Classes at the Institute may help fulfill a portion of the required, annual, continuing education units for certain professional licenses and credentials.
